There are three views of you: how others see you, how God sees you, and how you see yourself. Others tend to see you through lenses clouded by perception, personal experience, or preference. God sees you through what Jesus did for you in His death, burial, resurrection, and seating.
The best way to see yourself is the way God sees you. He sees you through what’s written in the New Testament-particularly in the Epistles (letters written to all Christians). You are who and what God says you are. Whether it looks, feels, or seems like it. For instance, if God says you’re righteous in His sight, then you are. Period. Learn to always believe God’s Word over your feelings. Believing and declaring what God says about you takes faith. And it takes faith to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
